Peter commenced his career in Wangaratta in 1978 and then transferred to the Albury/Wodonga area in 1984. Having worked for a large pastoral house, Peter has developed an extensive network of contacts along the eastern seaboard. Peter has enjoyed a high profile in the auctioneering profession having sold at both premier sales and major centres in Victoria and southern New South Wales.

In 1996 Peter completed his Real Estate Licence at Hawkesbury University in Western Sydney (NSW) and by mutual recognition became fully licensed in Victoria shortly thereafter. In October 2007 Peter Ruaro Livestock & Property was established. Cementing strong client relationships based on trust and respect proved successful and in June 2015 PRL&P joined the Rodwells network.
